Application Window: Complete your Application
PAADC 6.0 is still receiving applications from undergraduates all over the nation.ย
Consequently, applications that are rooted in sectors like; Agriculture, Health, Education, Environmental sustainability, and Essential services are very welcome.
If you have completed your application and submitted it, thumbs up! ๐
On the other hand, if you are yet to complete your application or you are in a dilemma wondering whether you should apply or not, remember that time isn't exactly on your side. For students affected by the ASUU strike, you have a lot of time to work on your idea and apply for PAADC. After all, there is no coursework stealing your sleep or your time ๐ถโโ๏ธ.ย
All it takes is a bit more grit and dedication. So, hop off that TV show, gather your team members, and send in your disruptive innovation!ย

At this point, you should be well aware of the Nexus. This is our prestigious monthly workshop aimed at connecting youths to industry professionals and exploring the varsity innovation scene.ย
The last edition of the NEXUS was hosted on our Twitter Space and had 4 amazing guests.ย
Mubarak Lawal, Anuoluwapo Tenibaje, Funmilayo Oyekanmi and Israel Alabi. Two of which were previous finalists of PAADC.

STEM Updates
Thepeer, an API-based Nigerian tech infrastructure company has raised a $2.1 million seed round. Founded by Kosisochukwu Chike Ononye and Michael Okoh in 2021, Thepeerโs infrastructure enables seamless transfers between small and medium-sized businesses across different wallets. Consequently, Thepeerโs operations are aimed at making payments possible from any wallet in the fintech space.
Instagram is also putting measures in place to ensure compliance with their age policy on their platform. Using an AI tool, created by Yoti, the tool will scan new users' faces to confirm if they are up to 13 yearsโthe minimum age for users of this platform.
